Getting rid of plastic packaging: new guidelines for business

The age of excess packaging is coming to an end and businesses need to get with the programme, according to a new report released on Thursday.

The Sustainable Business Network released new guidelines for businesses on how to reduce plastic packaging in its Plastic Packaging Masterclass 2020 report.

Sustainable Business Network project and partnership manager Kate Haselhoff said the report was the result of a series of masterclasses run for businesses in 2019 and 2020 that brought a range of expertise together to connect the dots between sectors that were otherwise working in silos when it came to eliminating or reducing plastics.
