Sinkevičius announces restrictions on cross-border waste shipments

According to the plans of the EU Commission, companies that export waste from the EU will have to "assume additional responsibility" and demonstrate that their deliveries comply with all relevant regulations. This was announced by EU Environment Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevičius last week in Brussels at an event organized by environmental organizations.
