More than 60 non-governmental organizations and 36 members of the European Parliament have issued a manifest calling for a complete stop to the export of plastic waste from the EU. You call on the EU institutions to use the upcoming update of the EU Waste Shipment Regulation to introduce the export ban. The initiators of the call include the European Environment Bureau (EEB), the Naturschutzbund Deutschland (Nabu) and the US organization BAN (Basel Action Network).
